Since our charter in 1947, our American Legion Post has been welcoming Service Members from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families.
To the wonderful patriotic citizens of the Okinawa community; join our Post as a Booster or sponsor. 100% of the monies raised are given back to the community. Help us to continue sponsoring Scholarships for our children; give aid and assistance to our local needy Veterans and their families. International Cemetary Cleanup
The Tomari International Cemetery clean-up will take place on the last Sunday of each month starting at 0900 hours. All are invited to meet at the Tomari International Cemetery. If you would like to participate, please message the American Legion Post OK28 Facebook page!
2024 Superbowl Party
The Post Canteen will be hosting a Superbowl Party in the Post Canteen (Date TBD). A food sign up sheet will be available in the canteen.

Election of Post Officers
Please take note that in January 2024, we will conduct our 2024 Post Elections in the Post Home. At that time, we will nominate, ballot, and elect our Post Officers in accordance with our Post Constitution and By-laws.
As a reminder: A current membership card is required for attendance.
